SSC Prasar Bharti Combined Recruitment 2013 for Engineering Assistant and Technician (1630 Posts)

Prasar Bharati (PB) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invited applications online from the citizens of India for Combined recruitment for the post of Engineering Assistant and Technician (1630 Posts). Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for these posts. Only online application will be accepted. Candidates are required to submit only one application irrespective of the number of posts for which option is exercised by them. Vacancies may vary according to the requirements of Prasar Bharati. Educational Qualification : 1) 3 years Diploma in Electrical /Electronics/ Radio/ Electronics and Communication/ Telecommunication Engineering/ Information Technology (IT) from a recognized Institute /University with 1 year experience in the related field.2) Degree with Physics as one of the subjects from a recognized Institute/ University with 1 year experience in the related field.3) Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University. 3) Knowledge of Wireless Radio Engineering.

Pay Scale : Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300 – 34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- Per Month

Age Limit : Maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2013.Relaxation of Upper Age Limit as per existing Govt. rules.

2. Name of the Post : Technician

Educational Qualification : 1) Higher Secondary or 10 + 2 standard pass. Academic qualification must be from recognized educational institution / Board.2) 2 years diploma (at least) in Telecommunication/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized  Institute /University.

Pay Scale : Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200 – 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.  2400/- Per Month

Age Limit : Maximum 25 years and minimum 18 years as on 01/01/2013.Relaxation of Upper Age Limit as per existing Govt. rules.

Application Fees :  For Unreserved (UR) and OBC Candidates Rs.200/- only and NO fee for SC/ST/PH/Women/EX-SM. Fees deposited in any branch of State Bank of India(SBI) only either in the form of Challan or net banking.

 Interested candidates who are meeting with above mentioned eligibility criteria are required to Apply online only through  website http://ssconline2.gov.in. No other mode of application shall be accepted. Candidates are required to submit only one application irrespective of the number of posts for which option is exercised by them. The filling of online application contains two parts: Part I – Registration and Part II – Registration. Once the application form is submitted successfully applicant can take print of filled application form and save it for future reference.
